In late August 2025 I had finally saved-up enough cash for a deposit to buy my first investment property (my first property overall). My fiance had already bought her first home in Wagga Wagga and had seen fantastic capital growth in just 5 years. As such, I wanted a piece of the action and sought out a local Wagga Wagga Mortgage Broker to help me in my pursuit for property ownership, and to also aid me in building my local investment team. As is obvious from this review, my thorough web searches for a well-reviewed Mortgage Broker concluded with Nic Casey (The Finance Collective). To keep this review relatively to the point, my research into the right mortgage broker did not go to waste. From our very first meeting via Google Meets, through entirely facilitating the loan application process for purchasing my first investment property and refinancing my Fiance's property, to the point of settlement, Nic and his team along with the investment team that he helped me build made the whole process seamless. To note, I was living in Brisbane throughout this whole process, and all of it was conducted remotely via email / phone. I never realised how rediculously easy it could be to buy an investment property with the help of the right people, and Nic was critical to this resounding success. Disappointing service from both broker and his assistant. Very poor Communication. Constantly trying to chase updates. It’s been a few months and still yet to hear a word back. Would not recommend. Thankfully have found another broker who helped us successfully purchase another property
